About Us

Goals	To provide event planning books and web resources that extend educational support to those planning business, bridal, special or social events plus tourism, travel, wines, golf and recreation in California.
Purpose	To improve the success of all events, recreation fun and travel, by promoting dedicated event professionals, locations and vendor services through a highly recognized and extended use“how-to-plan-events” book and web support publishing business.
History	J.R. PUBLICATIONS, INC., was established in 1990 with the publishing of the first “Beautiful Weddings” book. We began the web with www.WeddingLinks.com in 1995 and soon added a variety of support web sites, a corporate planning web site www.Beautiful-Events.com, plus www.ResortsAndGolfCourses.com. At present we are in production to expand the web resources [and six regional books] with talented event professionals and exciting locations, meeting the needs of every style and budgeted event planned with our new “Beautiful Weddings & Events”. Environmentally, J.R. Publications, Inc. recognized the toss-factor in wedding publications and developed a book that could be used for a LIFETIME of event planning, [Kept as a continual reference to complete twenty events]. In addition, J.R. writes a bi-weekly “Fingertip Solutions” e-newsletter that brings those, planning events, back into the web sites and promotes our newest advertisers.
Sales	Our books and web sites are supported with display advertising sales and web links. We are focused on CALIFORNIA, one of the nation’s premiere travel, event and wedding destinations, plus three of the world’s favorite destinations. J.R. Publications, Inc. sells various-size [photo-journal-style] print display advertisements in our books plus web links in high-profile web sites. In 2005 we will produce 120,000 books to be given away locally and sold in national bookstores.
Memberships	Meeting Planners International, Association of Wedding Professionals Itl, and The Better Business Bureau, with affiliations to the National Women’s Business Organization and National Association of Female Executives.

His background in organization, seeing a job through and on-time attitudes make this person invaluable to the organization.
OFFICE	Nancy Azevedo, of the Office Extension 707.546.1623, lazevedo@earthlink.net ACCOUNTING Nancy provides the accounting and tracking systems, plus appointment setting for Judith. She extends the TLC to our client base and total support to the efforts of the books and web sites.
